Sorry for delays. I know not having power (rankings) has been a big issue for a lot of you.
Power Rankings
- Zend (Previous: 2)
Goddamn this Zend team is the complete opposite of Texas. Very powerful! They dismantled CRAP’s team in a highly anticipated series of the two top dogs in PST. They could meet again in PST grand finals, but CRAP will need to have a solid game plan. Also is iFestor maybe a little sandbagged? Because he continues to pop off from the carry role. I’m actually really happy with Zend team, because they are my only post-draft top 5 team to still be in the top 5. Will they remain there? Yeah probably. With this series result it seems as if they will continue to have a stranglehold on the #1 spot for the remainder of the season. Good luck to their opponents. Or should I say victims? Because this team is fucking everyone up harder than ERCOT fucked Texas. - CRAP (Previous: 1)
CRAP is still a strong team. The second strongest, in fact. They might be playing second fiddle to Zend for now, but don’t count them out. The only remaining team that might pose a threat to them is Thrillhouse. I wouldn’t expect them to drop any farther than #2. But as we all know I’m generally wrong about this sorta thing. - Thrillhouse (Previous: 7)
Yeah this team is legit. They crushed Velvelvel’s team in a 2–0. I mentioned this last content, but their only loss is against Zend. And their playstyle (at least against us) is extremely annoying. They pick strong lanes and a fast carry and just sorta run you over. They make you wish Captain’s Mode still had 4 bans. What do you choose? Puck? Undying? Visage? Razor? Bristle? Elder Titan? Idk. I would ban Puck if I played them again. Ezpz crushes with this hero. Even with a standin (Drabz for Aylith) they didn’t lose a step. Good luck to teams playing Thrillhouse. - Pneuma (Previous: 3)
Pneuma had a somewhat disappointing 1–1, to me at least. They faced off against StonedSpirit; a team I’m still not convinced is top 5 material… Still, a tie is better than a loss I guess. They keep picking unorthodox heroes, and it’s largely worked. Until game 2, when a disruptor mid maybe wasn’t the right call. Oh well. Definitely a fun team to watch. They round out my contenders. - StonedSpirit (Previous: 4)
Despite my feelings, their record doesn’t lie. At the very least, it lets them stay at #5. All the things I’ve said about this team still hold true; I don’t think their players/badges equal a top-tier team. To be fair, this season has the worst teams I’ve ever seen. Like everyone had horrible badge distribution. So maybe it doesn’t matter so much. It hasn’t yet. - Velvelvel (Previous: 5)
Vel dropped a tough series against Thrillhouse, but I’m not gonna lower them too much in the ranks. They will bounce back in their upcoming series I’m sure. - Ripley (Previous: 9)
The team I hate to love. Or is it love to hate? Who knows. I’m still a little salty about Riv all chat in our series lol. Regardless, I think 7 is a good spot for them. They haven’t really won against a top tier team yet, but they also haven’t had any super bad losses. - Yfu (Previous: 11)
@dream @doofgod @krenn Nice Rankings! - Forest Bear (Previous: 6)
Uhh idk. They’ve had some nice wins. And some bad losses. I’m still decently high on Forest Bear team but a 3–5 record isn’t the best. This team is probably the best of the rest. That record is still not great tho. Wow I actually had them 3rd two editions ago. Hope they don’t keep falling. - MOCA (Previous: 10)
Wow! The first week MOCA’s team doesn’t drop! And to be honest it’s probably the first week they actually deserve to drop. At least I’m consistently inconsistent. They play us this week. If Jabinskiz makes me draft again; next week might be the first time they actually climb in these cursed rankings. - Burgeoning (Previous: 16)
What’s this? A 4–4 record? That actually came as a shock to me I thought they were a bottom feeder. They did just beat a very one-dimensional MJJ team… Regardless, did Odyssey finally figure out how to 1v9 in RD2L? If so watch out. My guy is an Immortal 200 for a reason. A 4–4 record is better than some teams above, but they have only faced weak teams so far. It will be interesting to see if this upwards trend continues. - Neku (Previous: 15)
Well they 2–0ed the worst team in the division (We are the worst if I am drafting), but perhaps they are not quite as bad as I thought. They are still in the playoff hunt, which nets them the last spot in the ‘not dumpster fire’ tier of teams. - Steven (Previous: 8)
How the mighty have fallen. Steven was my pre-season #1. And from what I gathered, many people thought Steven had the best draft coming out of it. Apparently that doesn’t mean much, because this team’s playoff dreams are fading faster than a Texan’s faith in ERCOT. - Bsvjsvh (Previous 13)
Hmm. They probably need to win at least 6 of their remaining 8 games to sniff the playoffs. Obviously it’s possible, but I wouldn’t bet on it. Their team looked decent at first but it’s been a long season for them, and one in which they haven’t given me a whole lot of reason to put them higher than this. - Gronaldo (Previous: 17)
Hey-oh! Gronaldo got a 2–0! Against Doomcow! Oh. Well at least they got their first series sweep. Whatever. I’m not moving him up because I’m pretty mad they suck. - Michael Jackson (Previous: 14)
This team has a fatal flaw: they literally have one playstyle. Ban Zoo, win game. - Jabinskiz (Previous: 12)
I mean we have some excuses. Me and Phoenix had some Texas issues. Jabinskiz hates DOTA and spends all his gaming time on fucking Temtem. And he made me draft last week sooo… And he made a very disparaging comment about snails and how I might relate to them sooo… - Doomcow (Previous: 18)
Still winless. Sadge
